Goddess of the Village

As the dusk sets in SHE evolves from the breeze ruling the plain fields surrounding the village. Any human who can see her could describe her as a little kid in a traditional folk dress of that village holding a rice stalk in her hand but none saw her yet. A thin line of air around her always remains illuminated. As she enters the village, the humans get into deep sleep. She walks slowly, singing hymns and observing everything in HER village. She greets all the cattle on her way and sits down to listen their stories or gossip. The cattle always wait for her in delight and when they see her you can't imagine how joyful they would become. Now and then, she dances as she walks singing some folk songs to cheer up the tired cattle and the cattle love her the most. She is the best friend they have and she is more than a best friend to them, indeed more than a mother.

She scans every house, every street she passes, examines every human she sees and surveys the grain and vegetable stocks in every home. After all she should ensure that her people and cattle are happy. When she completes her trip, she turns back to see the entire village, gives a smile for all those who are waiting for it and slowly disperses and disappears uniting with the same breeze over those fields. The cattle know that she will be coming the following night but you should their expressions when she is leaving.

By the way, the only audience for this whole scene has been only the moon all these days.
